Our honey is suitable for most people from 1 year old. Honey is not suitable for children under 1 year. If you are allergic to bee products, pollen or any ingredient of a specific honey blend, always check the ingredients first. If in doubt, we recommend consulting a doctor or allergist.

  • Storage advice: Store the honey in a dark place at room temperature (for example in a kitchen cupboard). Never put honey in the fridge; this speeds up crystallisation and makes it harder to spread.

Crystallisation is a completely natural process and is common in pure, unprocessed honey. It is not a sign that the honey has gone off. How quickly honey crystallises differs per variety.

  • Tip: Want to make the honey liquid again? Place the jar in a bowl of lukewarm water (max. 40°C). This preserves the taste and aroma as much as possible.
