A cup of warm tea, a spoonful of linden honey, the lights out. Some rituals have existed for centuries — and that's precisely why they work.

Linden honey is a monofloral honey, harvested during the short blooming period of linden trees — early June to mid-July — in the forests around Virovitica. For generations, the same family has worked here with respect for nature — raw harvested, nothing added.

The result is a light yellow to light green honey with a character that is immediately recognizable: fresh, aromatic, with a distinctive undertone of menthol and mint. Among honey connoisseurs, linden honey is considered one of the most distinctive and characterful varieties. It is milder than chestnut or forest honey — but never bland.

Perfect for

The evening ritual

The ultimate companion for a warm cup of linden tea before bed. Calming, fresh and familiar.

For a sore throat

A spoonful pure or dissolved in warm water — as has been done for centuries in Eastern European folk medicine.

As a refined sweetener

Its fresh character pairs surprisingly well with herbal tea, Indian yogurt sauces or on a light cracker with soft cheese.

As a special gift

For the true honey lover — a taste that stands out immediately and is not easily forgotten.

As our grandparents already knew

Linden blossom has one of the longest traditions in European folk medicine. Valued for centuries as a calming agent, to support the respiratory system and for better sleep. Linden honey combines the properties of the blossom with the power of raw honey. Traditionally, a spoonful in warm milk or tea before bed — a habit passed down through generations.

Crystallization — what you need to know

Linden honey crystallizes gradually — usually within 2 to 3 months after harvest. It forms fine, soft crystals that give the honey a creamy texture. Proof of purity. Taste and aroma are fully preserved. Place the jar in a bowl of warm water to let it melt gently.

Answer: Our honey is the perfect natural substitute for refined sugars for the whole family. Please note, however: as with all honey, it is not recommended for children under 1 year of age.

  • Storage advice: Store the honey in a dark place at room temperature (for example, in a kitchen cupboard). Never put honey in the refrigerator; this accelerates the crystallization process and detracts from its spreadability.

This is precisely the proof of the highest quality! Real, raw honey crystallizes over time. This is a natural process that shows that our honey has not been overheated or industrially filtered, which means all healthy pollen and enzymes are still present.

  • Tip: Do you want to make the honey liquid again? Simply place the jar in a bowl with lukewarm water (maximum 40°C). This way, the vital power of the honey is preserved.
